Andrea sits down with Bryan Vaughn - a husband, dance-dad and local pastor. A big thing Andrea talks about is the value of a strong father in the lives of kids and how she has been uniquely tuned to that since losing Caleb. Bryan discusses how becoming a father helped him understand God's love for us in a deeper way, and how important it was to invest as a father in his kids' lives to help them better understand God's love. They also talk about raising kids to pursue interests, and how diverse those interests could be.

Andrea talks about living with grief. She gives encouragement to make a choice to let God bring beauty from ashes. She talks about how she didn't have a choice to deal with the grief she has, but she does have control how she responds. Andrea also talks about "looking up" by focusing on the things you can be grateful for and use those steps of gratitude to pull yourself out of the grief.
